This Dual Lit wall mount sign illuminates through both its acrylic face and clear polycarbonate (Lexan) back, creating a halo effect. The letters are spaced 1–2 inches from a flat cut out aluminum backer, which is mounted flush on an exposed raceway attached to the building wall. For streamlined installation, the letters are preassembled onto the raceway in the shop as a single unit, saving valuable time during field installation. The exposed raceway is a smart choice to reduce wall penetrations, as it neatly houses power supplies and wiring, making it an ideal solution when there is no electrical access behind the wall. Only a single electrical whip is required to power the entire assembly.
