This Dual Lit wall mount sign illuminates through both its acrylic face and clear polycarbonate (Lexan) back, producing a halo effect. The letters are spaced 12 inches from an aluminum backer (full-size wireway) attached to the building wall. To streamline installation, the letters are preassembled onto the backer in the shop as a single unit, saving valuable time in the field. The aluminum backer, or full-size wireway, is an excellent low-profile alternative to raceways, particularly useful when electrical access is available only on one side of the sign. Designed for routing electrical wiring, the backer (full size wireway) does not house power supplies internally and are instead self-contained and mounted within a letter.
